Principal's Message

It is with profound reverence and humble gratification that I pen these words to the noble fraternity of this venerable institution. This college hath been founded upon the sacred tenet of equal educational opportunity unto all, making no distinction of gender, caste, nor creed. Within these hallowed walls, the lamp of learning burneth for every earnest soul that seeketh enlightenment.

 

Our exalted purpose is to rear minds illumined by knowledge and governed by virtue — to nurture within our wards the noble spirit of social justice, the conscience of democratic citizenship, and the spark of scientific temper, that they may discern truth from illusion and reason from prejudice.

 

May the portals of this institution ever remain a sanctuary of wisdom, where diligence is honoured, humility cherished, and knowledge pursued for the betterment of mankind.Let every scholar that departeth hence be not merely a bearer of degrees, but a torchbearer of the truth, probity, and compassion.

 

With abiding faith in the redeeming power of education, I commend all who tread this path of learning. May Providence guide their endeavours and crown their labour with glory and grace. Rightly echoes the Rigveda, आ नो भद्राः क्रतवो यन्तु विश्वत:। Let noble thoughts come from every side be the motto of a university i.e. पाटलीपुत्र विश्वविद्यालय.
